I saw part of the video. It's shot in high definition. We saw it in a state of the art theatre in the Wall Street district. It was the rough edit , but it looks and sounds great!
Chick told us that basically it will be a 2 hr. movie/documentary featuring some excerpts of the concerts from his week long 60th birthday bash at the Blue Note in NY. He didn't go into details.
Later, there will be individual DVDs of each band (of that week) coming out.

After the movie he played piano with his wife Gayle, singing. They both have tremendously positive energy and it was a joy to participate in that intimate setting. Not too many people knew about it except us internet junkies!!!!!
I also met Tom Brechtlein's wife Evelyn.
I told her that I like Tom's drumming and recently seen a DVD with him playing with Robin Ford in Germany.
She said, " I think that was a bootleg".

Yep, and every other band. Chick said that they will trickle out first on tv then DVD.
I'm assuming that there's some negotiating going on with the residuals and royalties as well with the fact that these concerts can take a long time to edit correctly.
